Stockholm, with 40% of urban green space and with its 800 km of cycle paths, is the only European capital that fully meets the air contamination standards recommended by the World Health Organization. The capital of Sweden is also considered the smartest city in terms of mobility. Some smart aspects of this city, in addition to sustainable mobility, concern low energy consumption and a wide range of e-governance services that can be easily accessed. On the occasion of the Smart City Expo World Congress event Stockholm was recognized “smart city of 2019”.
